Puri Lumbung Cottages are a beautiful set of cottages located well away from the tourist areas of the south of Bali and tucked away in the rice Paddies of the middle of Bali.
Puri Lumbung Cottages have a unique style as they have been made using the rare Balinese rice storage buildings that were blessed by Dewi Sri to protect the harvest and look over the crops. These structures were made except as the farming processes modernized and they are now very difficult to find. These symbols of the pre colonial Bali are incredible and beautiful and you will be able to stay among many of these in the traditional rice paddy surroundings of the area. This particularly beautiful and cultural village is very much as it always has been as well as being fairly close to the quiet beaches of the area it is possible to navigate the rest of the island from this location.
The rooms are quaint and traditional in the true image of the traditional Balinese county home. The rooms are spread out within this amazing landscape. There are only 16 separate rooms, 12 of which are standard cottages and there are two exclusive superior suites. All of the cottages are made from local hardwoods and are equipped with modern facilities. These facilities include fridges, televisions and air conditioning as well as satellite channels and all of the other types of modern luxuries.
